A multi-sited care sector client requested assistance to create one contract of employment applicable to all sites. Following face to face meetings with all supervisors, a common contract of employment was written. It was made of a core section plus several optional ones, the details of which had been agreed during discussions with supervisors, meaning:

  • Everyone involved with recruitment understood and used the same process;
  • The Recruitment cycle was less time consuming and fraught for both supervisors and recruits;
  • Staff retention rates improved.
