A nursery requested assistance to check that their HR documentation was legally compliant. Following discussion with team leaders and observing them work, all policies and procedures were reviewed and where necessary redrafted, ensuring:
- They were legally compliance and reflected working practices;
- Most procedures were self-managing, thus saving team leaders time and enabling them to concentrate on their core activities;
- Employee grievances and disciplinary action were reduced and the likelihood of the company being take to costly employment tribunals significantly decreased.
