The Regulatory Engagement and Assurance Unit is a dedicated function within iPowR established to support mosques and charitable trusts in preparing for, managing, and responding to engagement with regulators, with particular emphasis on inquiries, investigations, and compliance reviews conducted by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
The Unit does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or reserved legal activities. Its role is advisory, preparatory, and strategic, focusing on governance standards, regulator expectations, procedural readiness, and effective engagement. Where legal advice is required, this is identified and referred to an independent panel of solicitors and, where appropriate, Counsel.
